Description

Hand block printed, creating sustainable livelihoods for female artisans. 

The Maerl Midi Dress is seasonless by design. Go bare in the warmer months. Add layers for the cooler months.

Made from soft, light cotton.

Flatteringly gathered around the chest and back for comfortable support.

Mid-calf length.

Model is a size UK 8/10, US 4/6 and is wearing the small size.

Hand block printed onto 100% cotton. Plant-based dyes. 

Each dress comes with its own matching print tote bag and an A5 BANJAARA slow living inspired illustration.

The block printing process is all done by the artisan’s hand – natural imperfections and subtle variations are part of the beauty and craft.

Care Guide

Think about using less chemicals and energy, and more about working with
natural cleaning methods.

-Delicate machine cycle or hand wash at no more than 30 degrees.

-Use non-enzyme/non-biological washing powder or liquid.

-Do not tumble dry.

-Wash dark colours separately.

Beautiful dress!

I have been wanting to buy this dress for a while and finally bought it. The dress is so beautiful and the the fabric is so comfortable. Love it 🧡

The dress is beautiful, but sewing quality isn't great

The fabric is gorgeous, and it feels so light without being see-through, which is great. The shirred section is very short, so it has more of an empire line than a fitted bodice.
On the downside, even though I've only worn it once, there are holes in both underarms as the seam to attach the sleeve was sewn over the elastic, so popped when the elastic stretched. Its not what I'd hoped for, but can easily be repaired. Otherwise, it really is beautiful and I look forward to wearing it lots more this summer.

Gorgeous dress

This dress is so flattering and I have had many positive compliments when wearing it. I love the fullness of the sleeves. The fabric and pattern is lush - more emerald green than the pictures with the model suggests. Well made.
